FMIPA UNEJ and BSI Jember Area Strengthen Cooperation, Implement MBKM

Taking place at Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) KCP Jember Gadjah Mada, FMIPA University of Jember and PT Bank Syariah Indonesia, Tbk Area Jember extended the cooperation agreement (22/2). “This collaboration is the implementation of the implementation of the Tridharma of Higher Education in the form of internships, teaching practitioners, research and community service as well as other academic support activities, according to the direction of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology regarding Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM),” said the Dean of FMIPA UNEJ Drs. Achmad Sjaifullah, M.Sc., Ph.D accompanied by the FMIPA Cooperation Team.

Present at the event were Area Manager of Bank Syariah Indonesia Jember Area M. Reza Kamal as a signatory of the Cooperation Agreement in this case represented by Barid Paladin Apramada, Branch Manager of BSI Jember Area. Prof. Edy Cahyono from UNNES: Strategy and Implementation of Case Method and Team Based Project Learning Models

“The achievements that we will achieve in this discussion include RPS applying the Case Method and or Team Based Project,” Prof. started. Dr. Edy Cahyono, M.Si. from Semarang State University. In addition to the RPS, the CPMK and sub-CPMK formulations, learning plans, and assessment according to learning outcomes are the core of the strategy and implementation of the Case Method and Team Based Project. Everything was revealed by the Professor who is also the Coordinator of the Science Education Study Program at FMIPA UNNES when delivering material to FMIPA lecturers online (15/2).

Prof. Edy also conveyed the role of learning outcomes in learning design. “It is necessary to pay attention to competency standards for learning outcomes, even with content standards for study materials supported by learning methods and learning activities according to standards as well as to produce assessment standards for a task,” he explained. For learning methods according to IKU point 7 in Kepmendikbud No. 3 of 2021. “In IKU point 7, Case Method and Team Based Project refer to RPS, implementation, namely the role of students to assessment and evaluation,” he continued. Journal of CERiMRE, Department of Physics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Accredited by SINTA

“Congratulations and success for the CERiMRE journal in obtaining SINTA 4 accreditation from the Director General of Higher Education, Research and Technology,” said Drs. Siswoyo, M.Sc., Ph.D. Deputy Dean I FMIPA UNEJ and Head of the Jember University OJS Team (2/2). CERiMRE, even though it is a young journal, has been able to achieve DOAJ some time ago and finally received SINTA accreditation. “He is relatively young, but he was able to achieve the DOAJ international indexation, and now he has been accredited by SINTA. I hope this will add enthusiasm to other FMIPA journals,” continued Siswoyo.

For your information, CERiMRE is an acronym for Computational And Experimental Research In Materials And Renewable Energy managed by the Physics Department of FMIPA which is driven by the Applied Materials Computational Research Group or KeRis KMT. CERiMRE led by Dr. Artoto Arkundato as the Editor-in-chief, has prepared the SINTA accreditation process through several workshops and finalized the requirements from ARJUNA. Continue reading →

FMIPA UNEJ and PRLTB BRIN Establish Collaboration in the Field of Environment and Clean Technology

The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Jember with the Center for Environmental Research and Clean Technology of the National Research and Innovation Agency (PRLTB-BRIN) signed the cooperation agreement offline and online (1/2). PRLTB-BRIN moderated by Dr. Hanies Ambarsari, BSc., M. ApplSc. located in the PRLTB Meeting Room, Geostech 820 Building, South Tangerang. And FMIPA UNEJ was led directly by the Dean of FMIPA Drs. Achmad Sjaifullah, M.Sc., Ph.D. in the Meeting Room of the FMIPA UNEJ Dean Building. The signing event was a follow-up to the meeting of the two parties some time ago which discussed preparations for cooperation.

In his remarks the Head of PRLTB BRIN Dr. Sasa Sofyan Munawwar, S.Hut., M.P. said that research and innovation collaboration activities were summarized in Research and Innovation in the Fields of Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Environment and Clean Technology. “We PRLTB BRIN really appreciate the achievement of cooperation with FMIPA UNEJ in the field of Environment and Clean Technology to establish collaborative research and development of science and technology,” he said.
