Journal of CERiMRE, Department of Physics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Accredited by SINTA

“Congratulations and success for the CERiMRE journal in obtaining SINTA 4 accreditation from the Director General of Higher Education, Research and Technology,” said Drs. Siswoyo, M.Sc., Ph.D. Deputy Dean I FMIPA UNEJ and Head of the Jember University OJS Team (2/2). CERiMRE, even though it is a young journal, has been able to achieve DOAJ some time ago and finally received SINTA accreditation. “He is relatively young, but he was able to achieve the DOAJ international indexation, and now he has been accredited by SINTA. I hope this will add enthusiasm to other FMIPA journals,” continued Siswoyo.

For your information, CERiMRE is an acronym for Computational And Experimental Research In Materials And Renewable Energy managed by the Physics Department of FMIPA which is driven by the Applied Materials Computational Research Group or KeRis KMT. CERiMRE led by Dr. Artoto Arkundato as the Editor-in-chief, has prepared the SINTA accreditation process through several workshops and finalized the requirements from ARJUNA. Continue reading

FMIPA UNEJ and PRLTB BRIN Establish Collaboration in the Field of Environment and Clean Technology

The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Jember with the Center for Environmental Research and Clean Technology of the National Research and Innovation Agency (PRLTB-BRIN) signed the cooperation agreement offline and online (1/2). PRLTB-BRIN moderated by Dr. Hanies Ambarsari, BSc., M. ApplSc. located in the PRLTB Meeting Room, Geostech 820 Building, South Tangerang. And FMIPA UNEJ was led directly by the Dean of FMIPA Drs. Achmad Sjaifullah, M.Sc., Ph.D. in the Meeting Room of the FMIPA UNEJ Dean Building. The signing event was a follow-up to the meeting of the two parties some time ago which discussed preparations for cooperation.

In his remarks the Head of PRLTB BRIN Dr. Sasa Sofyan Munawwar, S.Hut., M.P. said that research and innovation collaboration activities were summarized in Research and Innovation in the Fields of Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Environment and Clean Technology. “We PRLTB BRIN really appreciate the achievement of cooperation with FMIPA UNEJ in the field of Environment and Clean Technology to establish collaborative research and development of science and technology,” he said. FMIPA UNEJ Extends Collaboration with Plantation Sentool Panti Jember

FMIPA Jember University with the Sentool Panti Jember Plantation extended the cooperation agreement (31/1). Located at Wisma Brawijaya, the FMIPA team was directly led by the Dean of FMIPA Drs. Achmad Sjaifullah, M.Sc., Ph.D. received by the Head of Plantation Sentool Sugiyana and his staff. “In the last year many activities have been produced after the signing of the PKS, MBKM activities, community service by FMIPA lecturers as well,” said the Dean of FMIPA UNEJ.

Furthermore, the Dean said that through the MBKM Independent Study/Project BKP, UNEJ FMIPA students gained a lot of useful knowledge in sentool plantations. In community service driven by Dr. Teguh Hidayat Wiyono from Biology also succeeded in sharing his knowledge with the community around the plantation. “The longan tree has started to thrive thanks to Mr. Teguh’s direction, now fish seeds are the next program by looking at a good pond and irrigation here,” he said. Maezula.co Founder and FarmaX.id Co-Founder Invites UNEJ FMIPA Graduates to Become Young Entrepreneurs

“Being an entrepreneur requires struggle and perseverance, as well as understanding the opportunities that exist,” said Fani Atrica Suwita Founder of maezula.co and also an alumnus of the 2010 FMIPA Chemistry Department. Fani recounted the beginning of the struggle after graduating from graduation until now he is said to be successful in running a clothing business in front of FMIPA graduates at the event Sharing Alumni (20/1). “After graduation, I was a teacher at Balung High School even for a short while and my interest in business started by selling glasses with the Kacanica brand,” said Kak Fani, her nickname.

Fani’s struggles led to maezula.co through the use of social media which is loved by young people, leading her to enter the world of entrepreneurship. “Through FYP Tik-tok, my business has been flooded with orders tens of times,” he said, inviting graduates to take advantage of opportunities and maintain connections with many people. “Now, thank God, the business is going well and I invite younger siblings if they are interested in learning together to achieve dreams,” he concluded. Towards Excellence, FMIPA UNEJ held Capacity Building for Education Personnel

“At the end of last year FMIPA was able to achieve superior accreditation in study programs, this is all thanks to the hard work together, including the educational staff,” said the Dean of FMIPA Drs. Achmad Sjaifullah, M.Sc., Ph.D. in the event of Improving the Quality of Academic Services through Increasing the Capacity of Education Personnel in the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences UNEJ towards Superior Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (18-19/1). “This is the first time we have carried out an increase in the capacity of students to support the abilities of students at FMIPA in serving academic activities,” said the Dean in front of all FMIPA students at Main Raya Situbondo.

Capacity building activities are also a means of learning for all students to complete tasks according to their duties and functions. “In this activity, all students will be provided with provisions to improve the individual abilities of each student, and accompanying speakers will be present,” he continued. Furthermore, the Dean hopes that the students will continue to be able to contribute to FMIPA even with some limitations. “Enthusiasm to learn to increase capacity for superior FMIPA,” he concluded. The Dean Inaugurated the Management of ORMAWA FMIPA University of Jember for Term of Service in 2023

“Thank you to all the 2022 ORMAWA management who have carried out their duties well, and for the new 2023 administrators to prepare themselves to provide the best for FMIPA,” the opening remarks of Dean of FMIPA UNEJ Drs. Achmad Sjaifullah, M.Sc., Ph.D. in the inauguration of the Management of ORMAWA FMIPA University of Jember for the 2023 service period (16/1) in Lecture Room 1 of the Chemistry Department, FMIPA.

Furthermore, the Dean hopes that in the future the student affairs agenda can be carried out properly through careful planning and guidance from the supervisor. Present at the inauguration of FMIPA leadership, ORMAWA supervisors and new and old ORMAWA FMIPA UNEJ administrators. The Dean also asked the new management to communicate with their predecessors to improve performance and achievements. “Communicate with the old management, as we know the previous BEM management was able to make it to the finals of the 2022 ORMAWA Community Service Program, ask for tricks to achieve that or more,” he said.
