The Dean of FMIPA UNEJ, Prof. Drs. Dafik, M.Sc., Ph.D., officially appointed the new management of Takmir Masjid Baitul Ilmu FMIPA on December 3rd. The ceremony took place in the Physics Auditorium, where the new committee also received guidance from the Dean, who is also an advisor to the mosque. “Today, I am officially appointing the management because the mosque committee is very special. Itās a task given with sincerity, for the sake of Allah,” said the Dean. He emphasized that the mosque is the house of Allah, and the newly appointed committeeās job is to care for and keep the mosque active.
Masjid Baitul Ilmi has been organizing religious activities such as the Prophetās birthday, sacrificial animal slaughter, Ramadan studies, and the halal bihalal. “Friday prayers are now a regular schedule, and I appreciate the committee for providing lunch donations in the form of Jumat Berkah,” he added. He called for the new management to continue improving the mosqueās activities, with support from the UKM IONS student organization. “Letās make Masjid Baitul Ilmi even more lively with educational activities, religious talks, social programs, and hadroh practice, while still maintaining the primary function of the mosque,” he concluded. To improve the quality of spectroscopy learning at FMIPA University of Jember, Ana Yulvia, M.Si., a chemistry lecturer, successfully developed SpectraHub. It is a digital platform designed to make it easier for students and lecturers to access spectroscopy materials. Ana came up with the idea for SpectraHub after observing and analyzing the needs of students, especially in the course Penentuan Struktur Senyawa Organik. “I noticed that many learning resources for spectroscopy were scattered across various media without a central location,” she explained.
