Mila Hidayatul Aula, a student in the Physics Master’s Program at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) at Jember University (UNEJ), has been selected as a full scholarship recipient for the prestigious Female Leadership Camp program “[in]Visible Power.” The global event will be held from September 21-29, 2025, in Obninsk and Moscow, Russia. “FMIPA students from the University of Jember have once again achieved impressive international achievements in the nuclear sector,” said Prof. Dr. Sutisna, S.Pd., M.Si., Head of the Physics Master’s Program, FMIPA. The program is organized by Rosatom State Corporation to support the development of professional female leadership capacity in the nuclear sector and related fields globally. The incentive training camp format is designed to help participants develop personal career strategies, broaden their professional horizons, and strengthen cross-cultural connections.
Program registration opened in early June and closes on June 27, 2025. Prof. Sutisna explained that program applicants must undergo a rigorous selection process. “It all started with filling out the application form, attaching a motivational essay, and then submitting a professional background,” he said. After the registration period closed, the committee conducted a selection process from more than 220 applications received from over 20 countries. The selection process involved assessing motivational essays and professional backgrounds. “Thank God, from that number, 50 top participants were selected, and 10 of them were awarded full scholarships, including our Master of Physics student from the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Indonesia (UNEJ),” he concluded.
The “[in]Visible Power” program is part of the transformation of the Obninsk Tech Women’s Summer School into the Obninsk Tech Leadership Academy. This high-impact training initiative will officially launch in 2025. The academy aims to equip young professionals with non-technical skills such as leadership, public communication, and career development, essential for future leadership. Separately, Mila expressed her gratitude and pride for participating in this prestigious, world-class program.
“I am very grateful and proud to represent the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Indonesia (UNEJ) at this global event, with a rigorous selection process and participants from all over the world,” Mila said. This activity is recognized as a best practice in education and inclusion by several international institutions such as the IAEA, B20, and G20. The participation of physics master’s students from the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Indonesia (UNEJ) in this program demonstrates their active contribution to the global arena and reflects the faculty’s commitment to encouraging students to continue developing and achieving at the global level. Congratulations and best of luck to Mila Hidayatul Aula.
