In order to realize government performance that is effective, transparent and accountable and results oriented, it is necessary to have a performance agreement. “The target for achieving the IKU for each study program will be stated in the work agreement at FMIPA, even with the achievement of implementing the Tridharma of Higher Education,” said the Dean of FMIPA UNEJ Drs. Achmad Sjaifullah, M.Sc., Ph.D. The 2023 Performance Agreement Signing Ceremony was carried out by the Dean with the Chair of the Undergraduate and Masters Study Programs at the FMIPA University of Jember (3/3).
The Dean accompanied by Vice Deans I, II and III witnessed by GPM FMIPA signed a work agreement in the dean’s meeting room on the 2nd floor of FMIPA UNEJ. Present on the occasion were the Head of the Mathematics Undergraduate Study Program, the Head of the Mathematics Masters Study Program, the Head of the Physics Undergraduate Study Program, the Head of the Physics Masters Study Program, the Head of the Chemistry Undergraduate Study Program, the Head of the Biology Undergraduate Study Program and the Head of the Biology Masters Study Program.
In the text of the agreement, the head of the study program is the first party to realize the annual performance target in accordance with the performance agreement attachment. The Dean as the second party will provide the necessary supervision and will evaluate the performance of the performance achievements of this performance agreement and take the necessary actions in the context of awarding and sanctioning.
The next indicator stated in the agreement is the achievement of the Cumulative GPA. Which boils down to the waiting time for bachelor graduates to get a job. The study program is also expected to meet targets for lecturers. Indicators for lecturers include the number of grant research titles, the number of professors, lecturers with educator qualifications, the number of international publications (SCOPUS), the number of HAKI.
“What needs to be improved are international cooperation activities, existing international webinar or seminar organizers need to be maintained and colloquiums need to be held” hoped the Dean. This agenda is a continuation of the signing of the 2023 performance agreement by the dean, head of SPI, head of institution and Head of UPT within UNEJ with the Chancellor of UNEJ a few days ago.
