The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of University of Jember has 4 Undergraduate Study Programs and 3 Masters Study Programs. Undergraduate Study Program in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Master’s Program in Mathematics, Physics and Biology. In the odd semester of the 2021/2022 academic year, FMIPA has 1654 active students spread across all study programs, both undergraduate and master’s degrees. All study programs are accredited B from BAN-PT, while undergraduate physics study programs are accredited A. ASIIN international accreditation is also being prepared, the Dean of FMIPA has invited all study programs to race to prepare. Learning facilities for students in each study program are very adequate, both classrooms and laboratories. This is to support the curriculum of the study program which also implements the government’s program of Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM). Students are given the opportunity to choose the Bentuk Kegiatan Pembelajaran (BKP) to expand the knowledge gained while accelerating their study period. FMIPA implements several BKP MBKM by putting them in the form of cooperation agreements with several state universities. institutions are also private. The achievements of study program students at FMIPA have penetrated national and international levels such as winning the Silver Medal at iWareBatik International Hackathon Event 2021. On the research side, all FMIPA study programs in 2021 have held international seminars. The agenda is a place to exchange research information for lecturers in study programs with national and international researchers. To accommodate it, it also has a SINTA accredited journal and of course the Kelompok Riset (KeRis) is the spearhead of the implementation of research which of course collaborates with students in it..

The undergraduate and master’s degree programs in mathematics at Department of Mathematics, FMIPA, are accredited B from BAN-PT. Learning facilities, Department of Mathematics has very adequate lecture rooms as well as international classrooms. Three computer laboratories with qualified specifications run mathematical applications and data processing. The latest, mathematics has a meeting point, where students can discuss comfortably which is located on the lower floor and the roof top of the new mathematics building. A reading room is available, making it easier for students to read math books equipped with the Senayan application to facilitate circulation. The Journal of Majalah Ilmiah Matematika dan Statistika (MIMS) majoring in mathematics reach SINTA accreditation at the end of 2021. A forum for lecturers and students to share their research results. Mathematics graduates have spread in various fields, in government there are those who work at BPS, teachers and lecturers in PTN and PTS. Also working in banking, BUMN, private sector to become a successful entrepreneur.

The physics undergraduate study program received an A accreditation from BAN-PT while the B accredited master of physics was in Department of Physics, FMIPA UNEJ. To support learning, the physics department has adequate classes as well as a large-capacity auditorium. Lecture and research laboratories are located in two buildings supported by a research group of lecturers who also involve students. Each laboratory has sophisticated equipment to assist the research process carried out by researchers, lecturers and students. Journal of Computational And Experimental Research In Materials And Renewable Energy (CERiMRE), an international journal from the Department of Physics, is ready to accommodate the research results of lecturers and students. Graduates of students are spread in several fields, from government to self-employment.

The chemistry undergraduate study program accredited B from BAN-PT is in the Department of Chemistry, FMIPA UNEJ. It has classrooms for learning and laboratories for practicum as well as research for the service of chemistry lecturers. The fields of science in the chemistry study program, namely physical chemistry, analytical chemistry, inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry and biochemistry, sharpen students’ abilities in lectures. Like other majors, the chemistry study program soon followed by managing a journal called Indonesian Chimica Letters. For the advancement of science, education as well as applied chemistry, the Department of Chemistry joined the Indonesian Chemical Association. One of the lecturers in the Department of Chemistry is the chairman of the HKI of the province of East Java. Graduates of chemistry students mostly work in chemical companies as supervisors or other experts. Besides being in government as a lecturer or teacher, BUMN, and also being an entrepreneur.

The undergraduate and master biology study programs at the Biology Department, FMIPA UNEJ are accredited B from BAN-PT. There are adequate lecture classrooms and six laboratories supported by a research group of lecturers in it. In recent years, Biology students have had the opportunity to participate in student exchanges to Germany or South Korea. The Department of Biology also has an Agricultural Tempat Ujian Kompetensi (TUK) to accommodate students and lecturers to achieve competency certification with verification from the Lembaga Sertifikasi Profesi. Biology is starting to manage the Journal of Life Science and Biotechnology to accommodate the research results of lecturers and students. As for the graduates of biology students spread to various fields, ranging from companies in the field of biology, government, private sector to become entrepreneurs or entrepreneurs.
