Prof. Dr. Edy Supriyanto, 11th Professor, Faculty of Science, University of Jember

Chairman of the Senate of the University of Jember Drs. Andang Subaharianto, M.Hum confirmed the six Professors in the Senate Meeting of the University of Jember at the Auditorium of the University of Jember (21/10). One of them is a Professor from the Faculty of Science UNEJ, Prof. Dr. Edy Supriyanto, S.Si., M.Si. as Professor of Solar Cell Physics in the Department of Physics of FMIPA. Prof. Edy was confirmed with Prof. Akhmad Taufik from FKIP, Prof. Kacung Hariyono from FAPERTA, Prof. Elok Sri Utami from FEB, Prof. Zainuri from FEB, Prof. Herlina from FTP. The meeting of the senate to strengthen the teachers was attended by the leadership of UNEJ, the Rector and Vice-Rector, members of the senate and stakeholders of the University of Jember. In his speech, UNEJ Rector Dr. They. Iwan Taruna, M.Eng., IPM., ASEAN Eng., said by 2025 UNEJ has strengthened 19 new professors. And currently in the process of applying for a total of 8 professors.

“The enshrined professors not only add to the number of great teachers at UNEJ but add to the intellectual strength of the nation from the result of hard work, dedication and commitment in the world of education and research,” he disclosed. The Rector of UNEJ hopes that becoming a professor is not just an academic title, but a great trust to continue to develop science, guide the younger generation and provide solutions to the challenges of the nation and the world. “UNEJ has always supported innovation and collaboration that brings widespread benefits to both academia and society,” he hoped. Prof. Marko Vauhkonen from University of Finland Visits Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Jember

Prof. Marko Vauhkonen from University of Finland visited FMIPA UNEJ as part of the Visiting Professor agenda. The Dean and heads of study programs in FMIPA as well as Mathematics lecturers attended the welcoming and introduction event for Prof. Marko at the FMIPA Dean’s Office building (25/4). “Welcome Prof. Marko, hopefully you can be comfortable attending FMIPA UNEJ because in the next few days there will be activities ranging from guest lectures to webinars,” he said. The Dean also hopes that there will be many collaborations with the presence of Prof. Marko at FMIPA. It is also said that the University of Finland is one of the best universities in Europe and we need to learn a lot from him.

Prof. Marko Vauhkonen is a professor in Industrial Physics and Applied Mathematics from the Department of Technical Physics, Faculty of Science, Forestry, and Technology, University of Finland. “Prof. Marko will stay at FMIPA starting today until May 2, so please share your knowledge, both teaching and research,” he hoped. The mentor from M. Ziaul Arif, S.Si., M.Sc., Ph.D., the mathematics lecturer will carry out several academic activities. Guest Lecture in the mathematics study program and physics study program. Practitioners teach in the PDP course in the mathematics study program. Seminar with IndoMS, Team Finland Knowledge (TFK) in the form of Grant Proposal Discussion and discussion about the curriculum. Inauguration of Three Professors at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Jember

The Chair of the Jember University Senate confirmed eight professors or professors at the Jember University Senate Meeting at the Jember University Auditorium (29/1). Three of them are professors from UNEJ’s Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, namely Prof. Dr. Anak Agung Istri Ratnadewi, S.Si., M.Si., as a professor in the field of biochemistry in the Chemistry Department, FMIPA. Prof. Dr. Kahar Muzakhar, S.Si., is a professor in the field of microbiology in the Biology Department, FMIPA. And Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Kartika Senjarini, S.Si., M.Si., a professor in the field of molecular biology who is also in the biology department at FMIPA UNEJ. The senate meeting was attended by UNEJ leadership, the Rector and Vice Rector, senate members, and stakeholders at the University of Jember.

“Congratulations and success to the three professors who have just been inaugurated; it is a matter of pride for the FMIPA academic community, and now there are seven professors at FMIPA UNEJ,” said Drs. Achmad Sjaifullah, M.Sc., Ph.D., Plt. Dean of FMIPA UNEJ. The Dean said that, apart from professors, FMIPA also encourages and provides assistance to all FMIPA lecturers in accelerating the promotion of promotions and functional positions. Congratulations and Success! FMIPA University of Jember Has Three New Professors  

FMIPA Jember University increased the number of professors after the Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi appointed three lecturers as professors. First Prof. Dr. Anak Agung Istri Ratnadewi, S.Si., M.Si., is a professor in the field of biochemistry in the Chemistry Department, FMIPA. Prof. Dr. Kahar Muzakhar, S.Si., is a professor in the field of microbiology in the Biology Department, FMIPA. And the third is Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Kartika Senjarini, S.Si., M.Si., is a professor in the field of molecular biology, which is also in the Biology Department, FMIPA UNEJ.

“Congratulations and success to the three new professors; it is a matter of pride for us, the FMIPA academic community, for this appointment, so that now there are seven professors at FMIPA UNEJ,” said Drs. Achmad Sjaifullah, M.Sc., Ph.D. Dean of FMIPA, some time ago. The Dean also said that, apart from professors, he also encouraged and provided assistance to all FMIPA lecturers in managing promotions and functional positions. “We pay attention, so we create a special quarantine for lecturers who are committed to fulfilling PAK requirements,” he continued.
